Holiday Wrap
So, the holiday season is finally over and as evidenced by my lack of posting, I am still coming down from the high. Either that or I'm having trouble getting off the couch with the extra weight I'm carrying around. All in all it was an enjoyable couple weeks with some much needed time off. My second gift exchange of the season, the Jabroni Christmas, broke all kinds of bad taste rules. Not surprsingly they were all commited by Plaizier B. It wasn't bad enough that he brought fat-chick porn but he proceeded to show everybody in the house the pictorials. For the second time in a row the bacon-wrapped water chestnuts were the hit of the party. Once the gift exchange got out of control and the MRC kicked in it didn't really matter, though. Unfortunately (not for lack of trying) D23 did not happen despite the hour long chants. In spite of that, everybody went home happy. OK, maybe not that guy who had to change his tire. Looked a lot like Pinner, hmmm...
Made a pretty good haul for Xmas including a new bed, a sweet framed radiohead poster, another Ipod and some cash. Not to mention the large amount of food and drink I injested.
It's always good to spend some time with family especially my sister who visited from Ottawa.
Shortly before new years a few of us also headed out to Marmot for a day on the hill. It was good times. It was my first time on Marmot and it was alright but not near the experience that Lake Louise in. We definitely could have used a big dump of snow as it looked a little dry in and around the hill. They may have had their earliest opening ever but you could tell they hadn't had any signifigent snow in a little while. Can't complain, though. It was, all in all, a beautiful day. It also made me realize even more that I need a new board. The evening was where the real action occured. We primed with some delivered food and some MRC and some Joker reduced-carb early on. Then we hit the hot tub (Luckily Plaizier B brought 3??! bathing suits including two speedos) where we proceeded to drink the Black Label dry with a little help from some 72 year-old dude (Can't remember his name). We fed him so much he was keeled over later on. This is also the point where I proceeded to only talk in one volume for the rest of the night. Soon after, we hit the Atha-B where we literally cut up the dance floor for hours on end. Plaizier was our Joker hook up and we never looked back. OK, maybe Red did as he bowed out quite early citing some stupid excuse. The dance floor was mostly a sausage party as our group continually turned off a myriad of chicks with our antics. We all knew, whatever we ended up doing, this was truly our new year's eve.
New years did end up being quite fun even though I had the beginnings of a cold coming on. I decided to hit a house party minus the grove boys, jabrones etc. I didn't feel like risking my life at the hall party and I was just sick of BP. After resting til approximately 11 then hitting the party soon after, me and my woman were able to go til about 5 in the morning. It was a huge dance party in the little house with some great music of all kinds. It was so good, folks were shaking it on counters and tables. It ended great as well with the smuggling of some freshly cooked spring rolls by someone who will remain nameless (my lips are sealed).
Here's a mixed bag of photos including holiday ones...

Some other goings on after new years were the Oilers amazing goal against Dallas. For the rest of our lives, we will never forget the name Patrick Stefan. It wasn't the magnitude of the Steve Smith goal against the Flames but I have not and will not see a more amazing, crazy play on a sheet of ice. In case you've been on the moon the last while, here it is again.

A grove boys favorite. I have a whole new respect for JT.
While I'm on the youtube tip here's some trampoline basketball which ends up as bad as it sounds (Ouch!).

And... the hottest thing going right now, 'Ghost Riding', with a funny twist. Way cooler than those retard kids doing it. >>>Love the feet hanging out the school bus window!

As you can see I got way too much time on my hands. Hey, work's a little slow.
That's a wrap.

Man, that ain't even Ghost Ridin, they got someone behind the wheel! That's more like Gas, Brake, Dip.
Go Hyphy!
I do appreciate the guy out the back waving the stop sign tho.
"citing some stupid excuse", how could I have resisted a 3 hour sausage dance party with three other dudes jacked up on Joke (that's Joker reduced carb energy drink)
Fleets, heard about this yet?
