As I sit here and contemplate life and why I exist I can't help but think, I really like white russians! That new Starbucks cream liquer works just like Bailey's and w/ skim milk it really deosn't taste all that bad. I'm pretty much addicted to them before I go to bed. I wouldn't usually buy that type of liquer but it was a housewarming gift from one of the jabronis. I won't say who got it for me but let's just say he was obscenely drunk this weekend at jabroni BP's swearing in parte. And what a night that was so I don't blame him. It all started with free booze (for real) at Laura B's and then it was on. We basically shut down hudson's downtown after fights (imagine that, Pinner involved in a bar fight, that's never happened before!), high school reunions and a dancing the night away. The night didn't end until we had stuffed ourselves full of free food back at BP's/Laura's (once again, I don't lie) and crashed near 6 am at Casa Del Moi. Believe you me, we took advantage of the free shit while we could, it might never, ever happen again. All in all it was like three nights in one. Speaking of three nights, I completed the now not so rare(for me anyway) tripleheader after heading out sunday night. CVO is such a bad influence. I keep saying this but I really need to chill.

So the mighty oil are somehow still in the playoff hunt even though they've had the consistency of week-old mashed potatoes lately. They've been as stale as dumpster donuts and the only saving grace was their victory in Colorado to finish the road trip at .500. Let's hope the Ryan Smyth scare wakes up a few people (Pasani, Bergeron, Horcoff etc. etc.) and we stop depending on Roli to save our bacon. Was it me or was Jussi just plain awful against St. Louis. I really thought he would have a renewed confidence after his Stanley Cup final performance last year but so far I am wrong. And does anyone else get annoyed whenever Mac T speaks. Say something useful for once, instead of a bunch of boring BS.

So I purchased the new Trail of Dead album, "So Divided". I have to be honest, after reading the reviews I was expecting a disappointment similar to Dj Shadow's album earlier this fall. But after a couple of listens, I'm liking it especially the songs, "wasted state of mind" and "eight days of hell". The last song, "sunken dreams" is also good. Pure Pink Floyd bombast. Some of the songs do tend to go on a little and there are some misses but, really, it's a good addition to my collection. I am and always will be a fan of this band. It's sad that they aren't more popular but I like it this way. I can't really see them getting many new fans with this record, unfortunately. Especially with unadventurous people like McDuffe around.

One last thought, I really don't like people very much. I went to the mall (when did it become a haven for trailer trash?) and Superstore (I despise this store) after work and I really would have rather ripped my toe nails out. Other than that, I had a good time.
