Back in Business
So it's been awhile since I did an actual post here and I apologize to my ever-dwindling fan base. It's been a great few weeks. Ever since a very successful guys night out a few weeks back I haven't had a chance to write much of anything here. Speaking of the aformentioned guys night out - it was pure debauchery from start to finish. We tore it up real good and by the time we arrived at the Black Dog all bets were off as to whether we'd all make it out alive. There actually could have been a casualty as Genau got sick everywhere and woke up not even remembering it. That's serious shit. I guess next time we'll have medics on hand in just in case. Fleets even reeled in a female even though I was basically incapacitated at the BD. At the end of the night everyone agreed it should be done again, maybe even a weekly event. OK, that might be a bad idea.
The following weekend was the inaugural Pincup at Baptiste Lake. Sixteen guys letting loose in a secluded area w/ no supervision, you can just imagine what happened. There was golf, the centurion with trivia and poker to finsh a very long night. Also included in the mix was a possible event for the coming years, drunken wrestling. Me and Pinner went at it couple times and it took me a good week to recover. I seriously thought I had whiplash and it looked like I had wrestled an alligotor judging by the scrapes and cuts I had all over my body. What made up for that was destroying big Dave and ruining a rotten pair of his skid-marked tighty blackies.
Fleets went into the poker round a strong third place but having no poker skills at all I quickly fell off the leaderboard and licked my wrestling wounds in the corner. The eventual winner was jaronii JB, a much deserved owner of the coveted P jacket. All in all it was a great time. There was even some now commonplace streaking by none other than the brain doctor, Derelickt. The 18th hole job was especially classic. The nudity during the last few minutes of the centurion was not quite as classic, mostly just gross. The D-man definitely is not shy.
Looking forward to next year's event, for sure. I've described it somewhat in words but here's some photo evedence to whet your appetite.

I finally got my window coverings installed this past friday and they're freakin' awesome. They really complete the place.
Well, we did out beaver hockey pool picks this weekend and it looks like there might be repeat champ in the building but I'll wait a bit before gettin' cocky. I did pick an oiler (Bergeron) so maybe I've killed my chances right there. I guess it'll help make the oil's games a little more interesting anyway.
In terms of music, I recently bought Dj Shadow's new album (The Outsider) and, so far, I have to agree with a lot of the reviews - it's just not up to his lofty standards. I still gotta give it a little chance but, musically, it's all over the place. It's not like I'm gonna give up on him though, this ain't no fairwether fan here. I still really wish I went to the Van show, heard through a friend it was off the chain.
Anywayz, should be a good start to the week as I work a couple of half days because were going to the Rancid show in C-town. Should be a blast and a good continuation of Doug's thirtieth birthday celebration. Yeehah! For now, I bid adieu. Psssst...And by the way, did you hear Fleets is having a shaker this Saturday. Pass it on.
