The Return Of Me

I know that my ever-dwindling fan base was worried that I may have perished sailing the high seas, perhaps slipping in the bathtub or even falling down the large number of stairs I climb per day, but don't worry because I'm here safe and sound. I was just neglecting you as usual. Speaking of perishing, I went for a night run 2nite and was seriously thinking I would get struck by lightning as I ran through the forest in the pitch black. It would be hours and hours before I was found If i did get struck in there. Beats running in the heat of the day, though. It didn't help that I had a couple of fresh blisters from flag football that made each step more painful than the last. Luckily I may have played my last football game as were switching to weekends for our last two and lord knows I got better things to do on my precious days off. It's really sad when we probably played our most consistent game but still lost by four touchdowns. I guess having only 7 players didn't help the cause. I'm really out of my element playing in this league. When you have virtually no football experience it's really hard to try and get by on athleticism - or lack thereof - alone. I seriously think I would be better off if it was tackle. Flag's just too technical.

So, my sister sold her place for 100% profit to the Albereta Environment Minister Guy Boutillier, no less. She definitely lucked out as this dude obviously has money to drop on a place that's not exactly practical for most people. He just needs a home base when he's in town from fort mac, doing the legislative thang.

So the Dj Shadow plan seems to be dying at the operating table but I'm actively recescitating it at the moment, there's still hope. Donations will be accepted. Ya'll know where I live.

One more thing. My dream of playing on a hockey team in the green pepper hockey league this winter is also dying a hard death. Because of promises from a nameless cohort of mine, oh hell we'll call him Mcduffe, I got my hopes up. So, to make a long story short, if you need me I'll be playing shinny with myself all winter long.
