The Stampede Synopsis
It's me again, Foregoing sleep to please the masses. It seems like everybody and their dog is jumping on the blog bandwagon but you know where to get a rundown of the stampede straight from the horses mouth, so to speak.
All in all it was a weekend to remember with Madonna kareoke, road pops, pissing on the side of the road, beer spillage in a cherokee and passing out after Red Deer. And that was even before we arrived in Airdrie friday night. From there it was a gong show with Saturday turning out to be almost two days in one. Of course I sucked it up and was one of only a few actual cowboys in the clan and sacrificed the circulation in my nether regions for the cause. Like Jabroni Scotty mentioned, they don't wear them as tight as back in 94'. Apparently I didn't get that memo. Saturday ended up stretching into the early part of sunday most of which I spent throwing football in the darkness for no apparent reason w/ a female who seriously wanted some three on three action. I think if I kept throwing for a few more hours I seriously could have made the CFL, you wise ass JB. It just seemed like too much work at the time. I think the squeak that was heard by more than one Jabroni was easy to pinpoint if you were near the source. In NHL news, the Islanders have fired Neil Smith and hired now-retired
goaltender Garth Snow as their new GM. It sounds like they missed April fool's by almost three months. It truly must be a joke. Is Mike Milbury the owner now!!? I mean, Garth Snow could barely stop a beach ball, let alone run a hockey team. Good luck!
And another NHL tidbit. One of my independent sources (CVOliscious) has found out that the conclusion of an extra time game will no longer be called a shoutout but a Skate-off. Sounds like they are trying to make the game sound a little harder like it's a street fight in a dark alley or something. I'm not convinced.
And finally, Fleets has purchased a condo. Adult life is slowly going to finally kick in soon. That's why I'm going out with guns blazing this summer. No holds barred, a fight to the finish. I won't be taken alive.
