So, Samsonov signed with Montreal. Just another day at the office for the ever-dwindling talent pool that the oilers possess. It makes me depressed just talking about it. I mean, whatever, it is July and we really should be talking about something else at the moment. The crazy thing is, the first pre-season game is on something like September 19th! I will now shut up about hockey for awhile. or at least a day or two.

Had my first slow-pitch game 2nite w/ my buddy CVO and a bunch of people we didn't know. We actually a pretty cool group of guys n' girls and everybody seems to know how to play, even the girls. I did realize I should have maybe joined the beach volleyball league judging by the talent pool playing just down the way from us. And by talent I don't mean how they played. There's different ways guys judge talent and this was one of them.
