Sutter Steps Down

Looks like the latest out of Calgary is Darryl Sutter is stepping down as coach and staying on as G.M. This is quite surprising as he's only three years (and two seasons) removed from being in the Stanley Cup final. I'm guessing he wouldn't be doing this had the Flames not choked in the playoffs as they did last year. The pressure to succeed was probably too much for him to take and he likely thinks that he'll be more successful focusing on one job. i don't really care either way. I definitely won't miss his boring, punch-drunk interviews that were all too common in his tenure as coach. Word is, assistant coach Jim Playfair is stepping in to relieve him full-time. Good luck, dude.

Just got a sweet camera straight from hong kong.

It's got a freakin' 3" screen on the back. I'm going to become like a woman for the next little while, snapping pictures of pretty much anything I see. I mean, why not, right?
