G'day er...Night

My first order of business is to talk about the Buffalo Sabres new uniforms. I can't hold it in any longer, this might be the new frontrunner for worst uni in all of pro sports. It might go down in hockey history with the yellow and purple kings uniform of yesteryear as worst ever. There's some equally bad ones elsewhere as well including: The new Anaheim jerseys, Boston and Nashville's third jersay and whatever jersey the coyotes have this year. What's with the facination with yellow. Last time I checked it wasn't that great of a color. The worst thing is the uniform they replaced was actually one of my favorites. The color scheme was very pleasing to the eye. Obviously some fans agreed with me as there were 20,000 names on a petition trying to stop Sabres brass from going ahead with the change even before it went officially public. And now that the Sabres are becoming increasingly popular there will be new generations of little kids sporting these god-awful jerseys polluting everybody's eyesight. It's a crying shame.
Staying with the NHL, why deosn't Dominik Hasek just go away already. I can't stand to see the sight of him. We all know he'll stub his toe or jam his finger and end up on the shelf for most of the year. Let's just quit the charade right now and get it over with for everyone's sake, Dominator. He's the definition of a pus and Detroit will likely see the error in their ways when the shit hits the fan as it inevitably will.

Well, I was in last in my hockey pool lately but moved up four places the last couple days. It was probably good to get a taste of the bottom, it'll make it that much sweeter when I win. I don't think I was any lower than third all of last year so this is unchartered territory. See you bottom-feeders!

Annika Sorenstam can sure play golf but is she ever a manly looking woman. That's all I gots to say about that.

Lastly, there is a party this weekend but interest seems to at an all time low. Maybe I'm not as cool as I thought I was all this time. Why didn't anybody tell me?
