Tuesday Blues
OMG! Just saw the plays of the week. Petr Prucha got obliterated by Kyle McClaren. As the 'Score' analyst said, "He broke his everything!". Also, the dunk of the night, Dontae Jones. Sick, I tell you sick. And Lebron had a disgusting dunk against Duncan earlier in the week. Lovin' those hoops hightlights!
Also sick, the Oil's loss in a shootout to the Canadians. Fernando Pasani and Jarret Stoll's efforts in said shootout were pathetic, to be blunt. Do we have anybody who can make a decent move in the shootout other than Hemsky and maybe Sykora? They better pick it up on the road or they could become buddies with the lowly Coyotes. Poor Gretz, I guess the word on the street is Phoenix is actively pursuing the unemployed Ken Hitchcock to try and stop the bleeding.

Switching it up a bit, went to see James Blunt last week at Rexall. I know what you're thinking, but didn't pay for the $65 (!!!??) ticket. Everybody knows, Fleets likes free stuff. I'm pretty sure the only person I know who would be jeolous is Pinner, but we all know he lacks musical taste (Jann Arden anyone?). So the show was alright but not exactly mind-blowing. The only thing keeping me entertained was his facial expressions as he sang on the big screen. The best part of the night was the two cover songs he did: Supertramp's "breakfast in America" and my favorite Pixies song ("Where is my Mind").

Lastly, a quick shoutout (not to be confused w/ the shootout) to my buddy Red and his lovely wife. They just had their second girl. Congrats, guys! Cigars, anyone?
