MONDAY!
Most have you have probably seen Alexander Ovechkin's hit on Daniel Briere and it's hard to say whether it was dirty or not, in my mind. It looked more like Alex the great kind of let up but was already in the process of hitting Briere so he followed through. Briere just looked like he went down like a ton of bricks. I'm certain that Ovechkin didn't mean to hit him from behind like that, that's just the way he plays. He's that rare naturally gifted player who is hard-nosed to boot. If it was Sean Avery Alex would have hit, it would have barely made the news. For those who didn't see it, here's a peak. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lnw3bou2NA
So the Oil have handily beat the Canucks tonight. It's good to see them back on track. Raffi Torres even scored, although I don't think it'll be enough to get him off the trading block just yet. Let's see if the they can keep it up, even with all the injuries.

So, still with hockey, word on the street is that Mike Modano is getting married to Willa Ford. Who is that, you say? Yeah, I don't know her either. Apparently she was in "Dancing with the Stars" and she's a singer. Does it really matter what she does when she looks like that? I don't think so.
Anyway...I was driving down the Whitemud to my work Christmas party with my car over its usual capacity on Saturday when an unknown object fell off my car. It's driven normally ever since but I'm still curious what it was. Oh well, Mcduffe being the good friend he is, if anything happens to need fixing, he has offered to pay for half. What a guy! If that doesn't work, I'm sure my sugar mama can help me out.

My favorite sweet at the moment? Lindt (makers of the chocolate balls) have come out with an amazing new concoction. It's a dark chocolate ball with a white mint filling. Hmmm, melt in your mouth. It'll make you crave for balls more than Doogie Howser. Alright, that was too easy. At least as much as Pinner's mom does.
Might as well go out with a bang...
